The United Nations World’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) give all people the task of ensuring sufficient livelihoods everywhere on earth in the future. Using the examples:

• Plant production
• Wood
• Natural rocks
• Work clothes

we show in the learning garden what horticulture has to do with the SDGs and how everyone can contribute to their implementation. To deepen this, we have developed learning concepts for vocational education and training. From a pool of speakers, one or more speakers can be invited to the school to conduct workshops and/or project days.

The Green Classroom Global Learning in Horticulture is accessible all year round in the model garden complex of the Gruga Essen.
