ORGANISATION:

IIiso Care Society is a community based registered non-profit organisation in Khayelitsha, Cape Town that provides educational programs, food distribution, a library, sewing lessons and many more empowerment initiatives. ‘Iliso’ means an eye, in order for us to make a difference, we have to first see what needs to be done in our communities, meaning seeing what may be done of serious need to our societies. Iliso aims to encourage a caring society that takes action to overcome their everyday challenges and to inspire communities to be compassionate and be supportive towards one another.
